Why We GO RED!
Please take a minute to take a look at this short video of why we GO RED!
- Cardiovascular disease kills approximately 450,000 women each year, about 1 every minute.
- 1 in 3 women die from cardiovascular disease.
- Ninety percent of women have 1 or more risk factors for developing heart disease.
- Heart disease is largely preventable. In fact, 80% of cardiac events in women may be prevented if women make the right choices for their hearts, involving diet, exercise and abstinence from smoking.
